Headquarters / Work

Understand where project effort goes.

Track running person sessions and project allocations, then review finalized time and live activity in Kooya Headquarters.

Time for contributors and delivery leads

Contributors can record their working session and the projects receiving their attention. Delivery leads can review recorded project effort, while authorized managers can inspect team activity. Clear task descriptions make the history useful when the team reviews a piece of work later.

Headquarters distinguishes the person’s work session from the project allocations inside it. Project tracked time is additive across allocations. Active working time belongs to the person session and provides a separate basis for employee labor context.

Start, adjust, and finish a session

Choose projects and tasks

Select existing projects and describe the task for each. Start creates a person work session with the selected allocations together. Projects must first be available in Project Management.

Manage changing work

Pause or resume allocations as attention changes, and stop an allocation when its work is finished. Keep descriptions specific enough to explain the recorded effort.

End the workday

End the person work session when the working day is complete. If starting again requires an overtime or new-shift choice, review that choice before continuing.

Review history

Inspect stopped entries and their project, contributor, date, duration, and work description. Project analytics separates finalized tracked totals from live activity so a running allocation is not mistaken for finished time.

Reading parallel project allocations

If one person keeps two project allocations running during the same thirty-minute interval, the project view can record thirty minutes for each project. Those allocations add up to sixty project minutes. The person’s active working clock still describes one thirty-minute interval.

This distinction helps delivery leads interpret project totals and helps operations teams avoid treating summed project allocations as an employee’s elapsed working time. Illustrative durations explain the model; they are not workspace records.

Access, reports, and cost context

Time Tracker requires organization product access and the relevant view or management permissions. Team activity and history visibility depend on the member’s role. Project Management must contain the projects you intend to select.

Use project analytics for allocation reporting and Finance for authorized employee cost and cost analytics reviews. Match the reporting period and the type of time before comparing figures.
